Youth Action for Children's Improvement (Y.A.C.I) is an innovative non-profit volunteer-led organization born out of the aspirations of Sierra Leonean youth whose dream is to gain access to basic welfare opportunities through Information and Communication Technology for less privileged children and youth within rural and peri-urban communities.
YACI work to develop children and youthful talents by broadening a forthcoming generation’s horizons through research and ICT Training, formal education acquisition, vocational skills training for the informal educational needy youth who were not fortunate to access basic formal education at child hood.
YACI relied on advocating for the dvancement and capacitation of children and youngpeople and the promotion of their fundamental and universal rights through ICT.
Objectively, YACI concentrates to know about the needs, reasons and positive effects of education in not only the Formal and Vocational sense of it, but also, the Information Communication Technology (ICT) Training as to become the world’s most speedy vehicle to deliver change.
YACI is carrying out progressive and beneficial service delivery in Sierra Leone to complement national efforts and mainstream child and youth related ICT programs to the Global Village
